Centuries ago the farmer, maid and farmhand lived on the farm – today it makes ideal holiday accommodation and therefore we’ve totally renovated and improved the disused farm. The 10.000 m² sunny south-facing hillside property offers:

• Completely new XL apartments (65 – 120 m²) for up to 10 persons
• Bike & ski cellar with ski boot dryer

• Own spring with excellent drinking water quality & opportunity to fill up
• 3 fish ponds, as well as alpacas, ponies & runner ducks on-site

• Footpath leading right past the farm

Our apartments in St. Georgen am Kreischberg are all equipped with the following:

• Pull-out sofa bed for up to 2 persons ( 90 cm x 2 m oder 1.80 m x 2 m)
• Kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and oven, Nespresso coffee machine, crockery & dishcloths
• Satellite TV in all bedrooms & in the lounge
• Toilet paper, towels & bed linen
• Garden or balcony

Due to its central location next to the B 97 Murtal main road the Vitalhof can easily be reached by car. You don’t have to drive up any narrow, steep mountain roads. Around the farm you’ll find plenty of nature, the oldest guesthouse in Styria right next door and other great activities nearby. Enjoy an exciting day trip with the whole family.

Park your car in the designated parking spaces in the carport on the farm.

You’re welcome to make use of the daily fresh breakfast delivery service from the bakery (orderable online at www.troadkunst.at, at extra charge, more details upon request). Right next door you’ll find the Gasthaus Winter, the oldest guesthouse in Styria serving traditional Austrian cuisine.

The valley station of the Kreischberg ski area is just 5 minutes drive away. Here you’ll find plenty of parking space. Please note there is no ski bus from the Vitalhof Rohrer to the ski area.

Your holiday apartment is available from 3.00 pm. On departure day we kindly ask you to check out by 10.00 am at the latest.

In the St. Georgen am Kreischberg region a number of excursions and activities await guests on their summer or winter holiday in Styria.

The nearest SPAR supermarket is located in the resort of St. Georgen (approx. 3 km away).

Our farm is equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Children aged from 0-3 years, sharing a bed with their parents, stay at the Vitalhof free of charge.

Dogs are permitted at an extra charge of € 5 per night.

Minimum stay is 3 nights.

In case you are interested in one of our holiday apartments, you can see the available offers online, get them sent to you by e-mail or book directly.

In order to keep the booking process transparent and simple, you can check the availabilities of our apartments in real-time up to 1 year in advance. As soon as you have accepted your offer or have booked directly, the chosen period will be blocked and cannot be booked anymore by other guests.

You can either pay via bank transfer or credit card (via PayPal).

Our terms of payment:
• Deposit: 30% deposit at the time of reservation in order to guarantee your booking

• Final payment: 14 days prior to arrival

You will receive the relevant payment instructions directly at the time of reservation. We will automatically send out payment confirmations upon receipt of payment.

We apply the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry in Austria (AGBH 2006) with the following adjustment:
• Cancellations earlier than 1 week prior to arrival can be made free of charge
• 3 months to 1 month prior to arrival: 40% of the agreed total price will be applied as cancellation fee

• 1 month to 1 week prior to arrival: 70% of the agreed total price will be applied as cancellation fee

• Within 1 week prior to arrival: 90% of the agreed total price will be applied as cancellation fee

We explicitly recommend to buy travel insurance. During the booking process on our website you can buy such an insurance which also covers cancellation due to COVID-19 illness.

In order to save unnecessary cancellation fees in case of emergencies, we recommend you to buy travel insurance, e.g. European Travel Insurance directly during the booking process on our website. This insurance also covers cancellations due to COVID-19 illness.

We charge a fee of € 50,00 bis € 100,00 for end of stay cleaning (according to size of apartment).

The local tourist tax is € 1,50 per person over 15 years per night and is not inclued in the apartment price.

There are no extra charges. At Vitalhof Rohrer you only pay the price for the apartment per night, the local tax per night & the final cleaning fee per stay. Other costs for bed linen, towels, electricity, heating, etc. are already included in the apartment price.
